After Jesus had washed his disciples' feet … he said: … “I have set the example, and you should do for each other exactly what I have done for you.” - John 13:12,15
All over the world, people are bringing life to others as they follow Jesus’ example and serve those around them. As they show love and offer welcome, they see relationships grow, hearts become open, and people respond to God.

A new phase for Pavement Project
After 25 years, Pavement Project is entering a new phase of its vital ministry. In 1998, Pavement Project began its work with children-at-risk, stemming from the vision of then Lifewords CEO, Hugh Davies.
Since then, Pavement Project and Lifewords have walked together on a fruitful and transformative journey, reaching many children, as well as their families.
From 2026, Pavement Project will operate independently under the leadership of the Brazilian organisation Pavement Project Global, maintaining the same vision, values, and commitment the two organisations have always shared. This means that Lifewords and Pavement Project Global will move forward as two independent charities.
“With hearts full of gratitude, we celebrate this next step in the Pavement Project and Lifewords story,” says Rob Taylor, Lifewords Interim CEO. “We look forward to ongoing partnership with Pavement Project Global as we each pursue the shared calling to bring the Bible’s words of hope to individuals and communities.”

Mission on the high street
Lifewords is partnering with the charity Blythswood, providing it with copies of Follow Me to share with customers at its charity shops in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Blythswood has a vision to reach every customer and donor who visits its shops, offering an opportunity to engage with the Bible. “For the past 60 years, Blythswood has combined practical help and spiritual hope for those we serve. Our prayer is to see lives changed for good … Our shops are places where people not only find great bargains, but are also offered the good news of Jesus Christ,” says Ian Matheson, Blythswood COO. “Across our 24 shops, we see over 8,000 customer transactions each week. Each one is a missional opportunity to show Christ’s love by sharing Scripture freely, offering prayer, or simply being a listening ear. Our shops are a mission field on the high street, helping people experience the Bible’s life words.”

Live events
We partner with The Gregory Centre for Church Multiplication (CCX) in relation to their growing work around estates mission. Their Multiply Estates Mission events gather together those with a shared heart to serve estates and low-income communities. We’ll be part of events taking place in London, UK, on 17 March, and Bristol, UK, on 23 April 2026.
