Each month we pray for the impact of the people who are bringing life around the world through Lifewords projects and resources.
Last year, Little Bricks of Little Books were distributed to 14 different areas in Bristol, helping people to explore faith and find out more about Jesus. Lifewords visited Revd Dr Andy Murray, Dean of Priority Communities for the Diocese of Bristol, to find out about how he and others are supporting their communities and using Lifewords resources to bring life to people in the city.
Andy shared how churches in Bristol are responding to the needs of individuals and families through facilitating and supporting food banks, homeless shelters, advice clinics, cookery courses and skills workshops, as well as seeking to reduce loneliness, strengthen families, and engage young people and adults to develop confidence, aspiration and skills for work.
Pray with us for the churches in Bristol and the work they are doing to reach their communities.
Give thanks for the spaces and contexts to share the gospel with others.
Pray that as they share God’s Word with others that lives would be changed and communities transformed.

Pray with us for … our Australia hub
Lifewords in Australia distributes Bible resources and daily readings, and works closely with our Indonesia office. They actively support chaplains in hospitals, schools, aged-care facilities, and prisons, equipping them with resources to bring comfort and hope to some of the mostvulnerable. They work with high school teachers and youth workers to help introduce young people to the Bible through little books and VerseFirst. They also support churches and train leaders to use the Ninefold Path.
Praise God for relationships with chaplains. John Wheeler is a truck-stop chaplain in Mittagong who uses Bible resources in his conversations with truck drivers. “Truckies face huge pressures – loneliness, broken marriages, and long stretches on the road,” says John. “My roadside chapel gives them a place to stop, talk, pray, and find peace. Lifewords booklets help me bring God’s comfort where it’s most needed.”
Give thanks for partnerships with youth ministries. A recent collaboration with Youth Alive NSW marked a major milestone. Years ago, their state-wide youth rallies used Little Book of Help as a discipleship tool for teenagers responding to the gospel. Now, Lifebringers has prompted them to re-engage with us. “Our youth group will often see 20–30 newpeople join our outreach events,” says Caleb, a youth worker. “For many, it’s the first time they’ve heard about Jesus in a good way. If we can give them something to take home, to reflect and grow in relationship with God, then it’s such a gift.”

Lesley’s story: Providing a safe space for young people
Lesley is a youth worker with Tunbridge Wells Youth for Christ. Through an after-school café, school visits, and partnerships with churches and community groups, she seeks to support youth work across the town, helping to create safe spaces where young people can feel seen, heard, and valued.
“A lot of young people that come into the café need a safe space,” says Lesley. “They need somewhere where they can come and relax and not feel judged, and just share if they want to. And we can come alongside, encourage them, and help them. And that's our mission, to reach out and show Jesus' love to them.
“I find the Little Books a really helpful thing to use to bring life to young people.… I was telling some of the young people how the reason that I'm a Christian and follow Jesus is because he brings great joy to my life, and it was great to have the Little Book of Joy to show them after sharing this.”
