Each month we pray for the impact of the people who are bringing life around the world through Lifewords projects and resources.
What to pray for this June:
Finding hope

We hear hope stories every day – of people sharing Lifewords resources with others, sowing seeds of hope. Every time someone engages with the Bible is an act of hope – a faith moment that can bring peace, strength, or a new perspective.
One of the ways people are sharing the Bible’s words of hope is in hospitals across the UK and beyond. “Lifewords resources act as a support and encouragement,” says Revd Andrew, a hospital chaplain. “We take resources when we do our [hospital] rounds, in case we get into conversation with someone … who, at a time of illness and vulnerability, is looking for comfort and hope in what the Bible has to say.”
“Our chapel sees a combination of anxious, sad, relieved, and grateful patients come each day to offer prayers or to take some time out for reflection,” another chaplain shares. “They come to find peace and calm in the midst of their storm. The chapel has a place to light candles, a prayer board on which to write names, and a range of materials that may offer support, including a variety of Lifewords publications.”
Give thanks for hospital chaplains, for their care and compassion, and for how Lifewords resources are helping them minister to people who are vulnerable, grieving, or in pain. Pray that God would strengthen and guide chaplains as they offer hope, reassurance and peace to patients and their families.

Pray with us for … our Global Bible Resources team

The Lifewords team based in Poland lead our Global Bible Resource programme, working on new titles, translations and digital resources. They also oversee Life Changing Words, our daily email service.
The global distribution centre serves the whole Lifewords family – if you don't have a Lifewords hub near you, you can order Bible literature from our Global Bible Resources website and receive materials by post, wherever you are in the world.
Give thanks for our new global website.
We are thankful for the successful launch of our new global platform, which is proving to be an intuitive and effective tool for our users worldwide. So far this year, we have fulfilled over 600 orders and dispatched over 100,000 physical resources to 35 countries. Please pray that this improved accessibility continues to bless those looking for hope and direction in their local communities.

Pray for our expanding digital reach.
Give thanks for the progress in converting our core global range into mobile-optimised e-booklets. We now have 150 e-booklets in 50 languages set to be available by the end of June, and are working towards offering a comprehensive global digital library by the end of the year.
We are truly amazed by the growth of our animations on YouTube. While 2025 was a record-breaking year with 2.29 million plays, we have seen a spectacular leap in 2026, reaching 8.2 million plays in the first four months of the year alone. Please pray that these short films continue to open doors and touch hearts across many different cultures and languages.
Please pray for the final stages of work on two new outreach booklets.
With the design phase nearing completion, we are now preparing these resources in five language versions – English, French, Spanish, Polish, and Brazilian Portuguese. Please pray for the necessary provision to cover the printing and distribution costs, and that through these materials, many would encounter God's grace and experience genuine, life-changing transformation.

Andy’s story: Helping communities to thrive

Rev Dr Andy Murray, vicar at St Peter’s Lawrence Weston and St Andrew’s Avonmouth, and Dean of Priority Communities for the Diocese of Bristol, UK is part of a project helping families who are struggling to afford sufficient food, clothing and shoes. Part of the support for these communities is facilitated by a range of services such as food banks and homeless shelters, alongside advice clinics, cookery courses and skills workshops.
Since 2011, the Bristol Northwest Food Bank – a partnership of several churches, organisations and schools – has helped more than 74,000 in crisis with the provision of emergency food parcels. “We see this as a core part of the mission of the church,” says Andy. “We want to proclaim the good news of Jesus through words and actions, and to demonstrate his love in very practical ways.”
Give thanks for Andy and the church communities in Bristol who are working together to bring life to the city.
Give thanks for the lives that are being practical and spiritual support.
