Why can’t I just use resources the way I want to? I’m paying for them!

Lifewords is committed to fostering a positive experience for both those sharing our resources and those who are having resources shared with them. Our guidelines are based not only on who we are and the kind of resources that we choose to create, but also in the feedback from people who have been approached by well-meaning strangers wishing to share the Bible with them. The overwhelming majority of experiences we hear about are positive, while a few have room for improvement, hence the introduction of our usage guidelines.  

Why do I have to pay for them?

We are a charity first and foremost, and we believe that cost should never be a barrier to sharing or experiencing the Bible for anyone. Pay it Forward creates a virtuous circle of giving that enables everyone to access resources, and for our programmes and projects to run around the world.

What if I can’t afford the Pay it Forward amount ?

If you are unable to meet the basic amount, you can apply for a Resource Lifeline grant. Tell us about your ministry and how Lifewords resources can play their part in helping you share the Bible.  

I already donate through Direct Debit. Do I still need to pay for my resources?

The Pay it Forward amount of the resources listed on the website shop covers part of the production and postage costs, so is separate to other donations. There is still the option to donate an extra amount on top of that cost, if you wish.
