Geovanni’s role as a pastor encompasses caring for the church, preaching and teaching the Word of God, discipleship, pastoral counselling, leadership formation, and walking with people in their different stages of life.

He also encourages the church to share their faith with their community, even in the midst of challenges and limitations. Pastor Geovanni shared:

“We seek to bring life by being bearers of Christ's message at all times and places in a relevant way. Through preaching, discipleship, community service, and consistent evangelism, we work to sow hope where there is need and truth where there is confusion. We believe that every act, every word, and every shared resource can be an instrument to impart life, and in that sense, Lifewords materials have been a valuable tool in this mission.”

Based in Cuba, Pastor Geovanni and his church family use Lifewords resources in house-to-house visits, community activities and in individual pastoral accompaniment, as well as visits to hospitals, prisons and orphanages.
