"The great thing about giving a booklet is that whenever the person finds themselves on their own, they have something they can hold in their hands - support and hope."

Helen, Macclesfield

The Little Brick of Little Books is a brand-new tool for ministries that need quality, Bible-centred resources that people will read, re-read, and keep; a boxed collection of the entire Little Books range that comes pre-packed with 48 Little Books - 8 of each title - and can be continually restocked, optimising the content for each specific group, chaplaincy, or church.

Here's how to get involved:

  • GIFT A BRICK: Enable a ministry, church, or worker to share Scripture in their context. It can be a gift to a ministry that is close to your heart, or you can ask us to chose someone to receive one who doesn't have the funds to purchase one themselves.
  • APPLY FOR A BRICK: We believe that cost shouldn't be a barrier to people finding a way into the Bible, so if your ministry doesn't have the funds for Bible resources like these, please apply for a brick and we will endeavor to match you up with a donor who has decided to GIFT A BRICK to organisations just like yours.
  • BUY A BRICK: If you want one for yourself, you can just buy one!

The Little Brick of Little Books is helping people engage with the Bible in prisons, schools, debt centres, supported housing, youth groups, rehabilitation centres and hospital wards, and many churches and organisations have shared how Lifewords resources are bringing hope and transformation to those they minister to.

But don't just take our word for it ...

“The ripple effect of the individuals who gift these Little Bricks far outreaches your imagination. Our patients will return to their communities knowing that hospital is not the end of their journey but a small part, and that God did not leave them alone at a time when they felt the most vulnerable. So, on behalf of our patients and our non-funded department, we would say to you a very heartfelt thank you.” Melissa Jack, a Mental Health Chaplain.

“Thank you so much for gifting the Little Bricks of Little Books to our clients at the CAP Debt Centre in Kingston and Wimbledon. With debt comes anxiety so for them to be able to receive words of comfort and encouragement through these books is extremely helpful and uplifting." Gayle Hardy of Christians Against Poverty (CAP)

“It’s great to have this resource. So many men in the prison are willing to consider faith and these Little Books which provide verses or quotes that they can think about and chew on, can be really helpful.” Hilary Edgerton from HMP Buckley Hall

“Thank you so much for helping us to continue to get Scripture out to those at a critical age, who often struggle to find where they fit, their purpose, and if God is real or not.” Paul Saxon from a school in Bolton, Greater Manchester

We want to add your stories to these, and the many more we have collected since the project began. Whether you buy a brick, are gifted one, or choose to GIFT A BRICK to someone else, we want to hear about the impact it has on your, your ministry, and your community, so please email us or give us a ring on 0207 7302155.
