Last year 100,000 people met the cast of the Christmas story, thanks to HOPE, Inspire magazine, and Lifewords! We're hoping for more of the same in 2017.

At Christmas 2016 HOPE teamed up with Inspire - the UK's biggest-reach Christian magazine AND with us, to help share the Christmas story. And they're planning to do it all again this year!

All year round, HOPE works to mobilise churches to do more, better, together in reaching local communities across the UK - inspired by Jesus' words from John's Gospel:

"I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me," John 17:23 (NLT).

100,000 copies of a special Christmas issue featuring our popular Christmas resource, Meet the Cast, were hand-delivered by churches to homes in their communities last year. HOPE are planning to repeat the experience for 2017. Please pray with us that the Christmas story will reach people for the first time, or in a fresh way this year.

Anatomy of a Bible resource - The True Light

When William Walters founded Scripture Gift Mission in 1888, his two main innovations were to make the Bible available free of charge, and to dispatch a respected watercolour artist, James Clark, to the Holy Lands to produce paintings of everyday life: these images became coloured plates in the mission’s literature.
